We have followed Alex & Callum for years and their energy and positivity is inspiring. They work incredibly hard to make Martial Arts fun and rewarding for everyone who trains.

My son has started Martial Arts with Alex & Callum at their previous location. He joined Empower Martial Arts when they opened, and has enjoyed every minute. Through this difficult time, this has not in any way had an impact on the positivity, warmth and support that has been delivered.in the dojo & zoom. Fun, family and focused place and people. My daughter has been training with Alex and Callum for over 5 years. I can't recommend them as martial arts instructors enough. My daughter has grown in so many ways and developed skills supporting both her mental and physical health. Their care and support isnt just in the dojo, its beyond.....not even a pandemic can stop them its just another barrier smashed by the team to continue to deliver an amazing opportunity for many. Alex and Callum have been training our son for about 2 years now and in that time he has developed such a strong positive attitude to his training. He has progressed from white to Yellow gold belt in his time with them both and has grown in confidence. The support and encouragement from them both is world class, even and especially during the recent lockdowns. Training on zoom classes is something that was alien to everyone until recently and our son has engaged so much. Top school run by top people.

Being someone who was almost scared of exercise starting Martial Arts was a daunting prospect. However, not only do Alex and Callum teach Martial Arts they teach you to be the best person you can be. So instead of constantly comparing myself to others and focusing on what I can't do my focus is now on what I CAN do!! I can't recommend this place enough, so if you want to find your confidence the EMA mats will definitely give you that!! This is not a normal Martial Arts School this is a family!!
