My daughter has trained with Alex and Callum for over 5 years. In that time, her confidence and ability to stand up for herself has increased so much. We have always loved that, while fitness and strength is promoted in her martial arts training, the well-being of the child as a whole is central to lessons too. Confidence, respect and positive attitude is just as important as physical ability at Empower - which is why she gets so much out of it.

The new school looks incredible. Super pleased to be back training with the best instructors in Stourbridge. The transition has been flawless and it feels like home. Massive credit to the whole team for keeping us all safe and socially distanced...it’s looking fresh and super clean. So proud to be on the mats with Empower. I can’t recommend EMA enough!! Our son has been training for Alex and Callum for nearly 3 years now and it’s hard to describe the difference in him... beside fitness and the skills he has learnt his focus and concentration were a massive thing and the improvement that he has made and is still making is amazing! The understanding they have for each and every child is something that isn’t often found from my experience!!

Being someone who was almost scared of exercise starting Martial Arts was a daunting prospect. However, not only do Alex and Callum teach Martial Arts they teach you to be the best person you can be. So instead of constantly comparing myself to others and focusing on what I can't do my focus is now on what I CAN do!! I can't recommend this place enough, so if you want to find your confidence the EMA mats will definitely give you that!! This is not a normal Martial Arts School this is a family!! Well done to all of the EMA team for your hardwork and dedication, I for one are very grateful!!
